Where does the Womble Wimble?
\nAlas, nobody knows,
\nHis step is neat and nimble
\nHis existence otiose.<\/p>\n
He steals in to have his breakfast
\nWhen you’re asleep in bed
\nAnd when the clock shows half past
\nHe has panicled and fled.<\/p>\n
His taste has great acuity
\nhe hangs bells upon his ears
\nAnd because of their opacity
\nHas created groundless fears.<\/p>\n
Such fears are really baseless
\nHe is a gentle soul
\nAnd even through osmosis
\nCan’t toughen up his role.<\/p>\n
Why does the Womble Wimble?
\nExperts cannot agree –
\nHe’ll fit into a thimble
\nThen grow taller than a tree.<\/p>\n
His Wimble we shall always need
\nHowever much we grumble
\nThere’s no sight can exceed
\nThe Womble scoffing apple crumble.<\/p>\n
So long may the Womble Wimble
\nAnd do it with such grit
\nThat makes our back teeth tingle
\nWhen thinking about it.<\/p>\n
