\nNever stray so far from the centre

Whatever you may think of yourself
\nThe World will have its say,
\nAnd though you may wish to stay on the shelf
\nFate will have its way.<\/p>\n
Sometimes you should race along
\nWith the World tucked under your arm;
\nA triumphant winner, noble and strong
\nTrue to your own lucky charm<\/p>\n
Feeling a little glow of life
\nhaving lived for one more day,
\nA thousand years of futile strife
\nWill not sweep that glow away.<\/p>\n
The inner tensions in one can
\nCompete as if a thing apart
\nAcross the generation span
\nTo heal an aching heart.<\/p>\n
Fulfilling what there has to be,
\nRejoicing in simplicity
\nSeeing God’s way in harmony
\nWith peace for thee and me.<\/p>\n
