At one year old she was so rosy
As snuggy as a tea-pot cosy
Now, racy Rachael’s two today,
A raffish age, you might well say;
The youngest sibling of the tribe.
Un-put-downable, have you tried?
To protect her patch she’s quite able,
Fair shares and a bit more at table.
She’s learning all the time to give and take
But today’s her birthday, so make no mistake
That what she wishes to partake
She may, of her special birthday cake.
So give the birthday girl a cheer
And we.ll be around again next year
For another special tea
When she’ll be three.
